| A separate nursery room is established for the young children. Loving and caring staff give the children the individual attention that they need for healthy growth and development. A low staff/child ratio is maintained. Toddler/Intermediate Program The toddler/Intermediate classrooms provide children who are 1-3 years of age the opportunity to play and cognitive development using appropriate equipment and educational materials. Social skills are developed during play activities. Preschool/Pre-Kinderten
Children learn best when they are given the opportunity to actively "work" at different interest areas in small groups. Children can rotate between the areas of: computers, art, literature, imaginery play, blocks, large and small grossmotor areas and a structured circle time. Teachers act as guides and motivators encouraging children to explore and discover for themselves. Professional preschool curriculums are utilized for teaching positive life-skills. Kid's Connection School-age
A structured program of activities for school-age children, who have entered 1st grade, is offered in a safe environment before and after school. During the summer months, a full program of activities is planned for the school-age children. Summer activities include: weekly projects, interest areas, supervised sports (inside and outside) and structured games. Afternoon swimming at the local outside pool is included under the supervision of the Center's teachers.
